I Love Drugstore Makeup | TAG

Hola, the I love drugstore makeup tag has been going around YouTube and Blogger for sometime now and in the past year I have found some amazing pieces of makeup that I would love to share with you.

1. What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand?
Rimmel has always been my favourite drugstore makeup brand, I just think that the quality of it is perfect, they have the most amazing range of products for the price and I have never had any downfalls to the brand.

2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?
My most favourite face products are all by Rimmel (what a surprise) and they are the Rimmel London wake me up range and the Rimmel London stay matte powder. I honestly think these are the best products you can buy at the drugstore and I highly recommend them if you haven't bought them already! Next is favourite cheek product which is hard for me to answer, I never put anything on my cheek as I get a natural blush even if I have foundation on but I do love my dream mousse blush by Maybelline New York. As for lips everyone knows I am a huge fan of Maybelline Baby Lips!

Least Favourite Product?
So a few months ago I went out and bought LOreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick and I wasn't really 100% happy with it. I love wearing lipsticks and have had past experience on wearing them but when I wore this it felt like I had just applied glue to my lips - literally! I don't know whether I picked up a dodgy one but I will definitely not be wearing it ever again, sorry LOreal.

4. What is the best makeup bargain?
The best makeup bargain I have bought is the Rimmel London stay matte powder! I got it for just under £4 and absolutely love it, I honestly believe it is better than any high end powders out there. Good job Rimmel!

5.What is your favourite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)
Something that not many people talk about is the Bourjois Bronzing Powder which I absolutely love. When I first came across this I was shocked at how cheap it was (£6.99 from Boots) and the quality. I also want to point out it smells like chocolate, no joke!

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
A drugstore product I always see that is way overpriced is mascara, can someone tell me why they would pay £9 for mascara when they could get something much better such as the Bourjois Bronzing Powder for £6.99? This is just an issue I will never get my head round, haha.

7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!
The best drugstore dupe I own the Wake Me Up Foundation by Rimmel which is a lot like the YSL foundation, you can buy around 3x more of the Wake Me Up Foundation than the YSL and they both give a very similar look!

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
I have used the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse for around a year now as I was weary to try out any other foundations on the market. After trying out a lot more foundations and mousses I have honestly realized how awful it actually is. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love it but it wears off really quickly. After coming home from a full day at school I look in the mirror to see I have a makeup free face which is not what I wanted at all! I still recommend it for anyone who is new to makeup and are just getting used to it because it really is good mousse!

I TAG you and everyone else who read this and is willing to do the tag, make sure you all have fun with it and post me the page links as I would love to read them!

I hope you all had an amazing Monday.. well as amazing as a Monday can get and I will speak to you all soon! Bye xx
