Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation

This is a product I have had for a long time but never took the time to write a review about. I first saw the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation when I was watching a makeup tutorial on YouTube. The foundation turned out great and looked very natural and made the skin look flawless, forgetting I already have way too many foundations I went out and bought it.

I purchased this product from Boots for £6.99 which is a very good deal. I brought it home, washed off the makeup that was already on my face and applied it. When I first pumped a small amount on the back of my hand it came out very watery which was unusual as all my foundations are never like this. Yet I applied it anyway and it made my skin look amazing. It is the perfect shade for my skin and has no shimmer nor does it make your skin look shiny.

How I apply it:
  1. Shake the bottle for around 5 seconds - I do this to make sure it doesn't come out too watery.
  2. I apply my light moisturiser by Simple (review here)
  3. I then apply a small amount onto the back on my hand - enough to cover the face
  4. I then get my Real Techniques foundation brush and blend it all over my face
  5. After that, I get my Real Techniques blending sponge and wipe it all over my face to make sure it is 100% blended in and looks natural
  6. Apply concealer (Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer)
  7. Finally, I apply a pressed powder and voila, you are finished!
This isn't the best foundation I have ever used, I prefer my BB Cream by Rimmel London but if it does a good job I am happy. Once again I am extremely pleased with my purchase from Rimmel and I recommend you to get this foundation.

Thank you for reading,
lots of love Abbey xx
