Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Review

I've had this sponge around a year now and have been meaning to write a review about it. I got it from my parents for Christmas last year and was pleased because I was about to buy it myself - shocker!

I will start of by saying how this wouldn't be my first choice on what I would use to apply my makeup. I prefer brushes and am constantly adding more to my collection. However, I do like using this sponge to go over my foundation and concealer to ensure it is blended in correctly. It also makes sure there is no streaks left behind from the brush.

The price is reasonable; £5.99 from Boots, whereas the beauty blender starts around £14- £15. A lot of people debate on whether this is a dupe to the beauty blender but as I have never tried it out I cannot give my input. Although, at the price of £5.99 and the results it gives you cannot say no to giving this a go.

The sponge is very soft. It isn't harsh on your skin and doesn't feel rough. It does stain quite a bit which makes it a nightmare to wash as you're constantly trying to vanish this stain without wrecking the sponge completely.

I do recommend this sponge to any makeup beginners or to people wanting a cheaper version of the beauty blender.

You can buy it here.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and have a wonderful Black Friday weekend!

Keep smiling :)
Love Abbey xx
